Classroom Teacher

Position Details:
Title: Teacher
Classification: Full-Time, Salaried
Reports to: Division Head of School
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
**Occasional additional availability may be required for school-sponsored activities and events, meetings, and/or professional development.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
• Background in Education or a related field preferred
• State teaching license required
• Strong knowledge of instructional practices, classroom management, and student development
• Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Strong communicative and collaborative skills

Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Division Head of School, Teachers will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality and engaging classroom instruction while maintaining a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
• Establish and maintain clear classroom rules and routines
• Build and maintain professional relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Actively participate in school events and activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
• Support and uphold all Mason Preparatory School policies and procedures as outlined in faculty and employee handbooks.
